I remember our school district in our school bus safety drills actually showing kids how to properly commandeer a school bus and safely get it pulled over in case the driver has a seizure.

Interesting how gender is such a BIG deal! Yawn! Gender schmender. People get soooo apprehensive about "controversy" they don't understand. I thought society would be beyond making a story like this spotlight news in the first place.

I bet Cordova is a fantastic community. I'm sure when you get a town surrounded by beauty and wilderness that is miles from the next community, the folks there make do, keep busy, and have a good time. It must be heaven to them.

That's what I like about catalogues from L. Bean, Wal-Mart, SportPlus, etc. is that their models show people of all races, ages, shapes and sizes. Much more a reflection of society.

Too far from the beach, no scenery, no natural wonders, extended cold weather...my kids and family would be bored unless I threw money at them & that's no fun.

Sometimes indeed a hotel/motel is a good bet if they'll be in town awhile...if I was visiting for a four-day weekend...I'd like the convenience of an inn...when you've got kids, one with an indoor pool is bonus and everyone has a place to savor their privacy without feelings of imposition.
